When I was a child I felt that the landscapes of Northern California were unbearably beautiful. As an adult in Alaska, I still feel the same. Painting allows me to experience the beauty and energy of a place for an extended period of time. These scenes aim to capture a landscape’s whimsy and wonder through a playful and spirited application of paint.
